Try Before You Buy

I returned my Try Before You Buy order, but don't see my refund.

updated Apr 28, 2026

If you’ve returned items from a Try Before You Buy order and don’t see a refund posted to your account, don’t worry — this is expected.

Unlike traditional purchases, Try Before You Buy orders are not charged upfront. Instead, your card is authorized at checkout for the full order amount. This is a temporary hold to ensure funds are available, but no payment is actually captured at that time.

What happens when you submit a return?

When you return items during your trial:

  • The original authorization is updated to reflect only the items you’ve chosen to keep
  • If you return everything, the authorization is voided entirely
  • If you keep some items, only those items are captured (charged) at the end of your trial

Why you don’t see a refund

Because payment was never captured on our end, there’s no traditional refund issued. Instead:

  • The pending authorization adjusts or disappears
  • You may see the original amount drop off your statement rather than a refund being added back

Timing

Authorization updates or releases typically happen within 1–5 business days, depending on your bank.

If you’re unsure whether your return was processed correctly or something doesn’t look right on your statement, feel free to reach out to hello@rozhair.com — we’re happy to help review your order.
